If you already own or have access to a 4-shaft loom there is no need to rent one; however, your equipment must be in good working order.  If you are unsure about the viability of your equipment you might want to bring it in for a “tune up.” This must be done at least two weeks prior to your class.

During your visit we will check you loom or wheel and explain why it may need a tune up. Most tune ups can be done on the spot for a flat rate of $25. In the event your loom needs extensive work we will give you an estimate of the cost. Should you elect to have us perform the repairs, our rate is $25 per hour plus the cost of any parts needed.

In fairness to other students extensive tuning and fixing of broken or neglected equipment has to be preformed outside class. If you arrive at the first class with cranky equipment you will lose valuable classroom time
