The location of all dye workshops is at our studio location (18115 Madison
Road) and not our woodworking location. Dye workshops are held outside RAIN or
SHINE.
Wear clothing that you don’t mind splattering dye onto.
Garden clogs are a pratical choice for shoes.
Gloves are required. We suggest making an investment in Spontex Bluettes.
These gloves are a premium household glove with a non-slip grip, neoprene
coating and cotton knit linig. They may be purchased at most Ace Hardware
stores or on-line. Approximate cost is $7.
Bring your own lunch and beverage (refrigerator provided).
Sunscreen and/or hat recommended.
A camp stool or lawn chair is handy while waiting for dye vats to boil.
All dye material must be prepared prior to your arrival (wash and tie skeins,
wash fleece, etc.)
A small pail plus a garbage bag are handy for transporting wet items home.
